Behind La Maison de Cécile
La Maison de Cécile is the story of a village stumbled upon by chance and an instant love at first sight. Nestled between river and hills, this place drew me in like a magnet… though I didn’t know why at the time.
It took me a few years, a few detours, projects, and changing dreams… before life brought me back here and gave me the chance to make it mine. But from the very beginning, this place was never meant for me alone. I envisioned it for those looking for a refuge, a pause, a holiday home that’s a little different from the rest.
A place that’s warm, a little out of time, where you come to slow down, laugh, and breathe. I renovated it with care so it could welcome you the way I would love to be welcomed: with character, comfort, and all the little thoughtful details that make a difference.
Today, it brings me great joy to open the doors of this home to you… and let you create your own memories here.
PS: I didn’t go very far to find the name for the house… Cécile is my first name. I wanted something warm, personal, human, and welcoming — like a family home.
